Biotama again received a national award in the event GIFT PRODUCTS INDONESIA ASLI 2008 organized by the Ministry of Industry of Indonesia and National daily Bisnis Indonesia.

In the event held on December 11, 2008 that there were 19 winners and BIOTAMA is the only manufacturer of environmentally friendly organic fertilizer which is a prestigious award.

Domestic market potential is still believed to be able to overcome the impact of the global financial crisis, with increasing use of the product native to Indonesia and to protect domestic market from the invasion of imported products.

To strengthen the use of local products, the Ministry of Industry, prepared two legal umbrella to complete the Decree of the Use of Domestic Products issued by the government soon.

Depperin Secretary General Agus said Tjahajana Wirakusuma Indonesia using the original product to be effective measures to cope with weakening export performance due to the global crisis.
